The Global Network of Technology Evangelists is a professional
peer organization connecting Technology Evangelists from around the world,
with each other. Technology evangelism is the leading edge of technology
education and marketing in the IT industry.
We have four areas of focus:
Evangelizing Evangelism
Evangelism is the leading edge of modern technology marketing. However, it is not widely understood in the industry or in academia. Our goal is to build awareness and acceptance of Technology Evangelism.

Networking Opportunities
GNoTE enables evangelists to leverage each others' networks to work more effectively. We create a sustainable, practical professional network which will provide opportunities and remain valuable in transitioning to other career roles.

Peer to Peer Learning
We create an intimate, friendly environment in which evangelists can share expertise and maintain perspective on the entire technology industry, not just their specific niche. GNoTE is a knowledge society in which evangelists can access knowledge across the spectrum of our members' domains and expertise. We create opportunities for evangelists to leverage each other for mutual benefit, whether through joint speaking engagements or knowledge sharing.

Maintaining Technology Agnosticism
GNoTE is technology agnostic. The technology industry is fluid - one quarter's competitors are the next quarter's partners. At all times it is beneficial to be connected across the technology industry. GNoTE is about people, not companies.

Who is an evangelist?
The definition of "evangelism" is very subjective. Our definitions of an
"evangelist" and "evangelism" are broad and inclusive. Not
everybody who works as an evangelist has the word on their business card.
Generally, an evangelist is a domain expert who spends a significant percentage of
their work time helping others to succeed with, or educating others about technology.
